The funny thing is that when Blake Lively landed on the cover of Vogue earlier this year, I commented that it was similar to when Gretchen Mol came out of nowhere on the Vanity Fair cover. Gretchen's cover was pretty legendary, especially now that she never became an IT Girl...but to read that she would sexually degrade herself like this and that Harvey would encourage it is just sad on so many levels. She shouldn't have let herself be 'decorated' (EW!!!) by this idiot and his friend.

And Blake needs a reality check, she is on Gossip Girl...it's not like she's January Jones or Elisabeth Moss on Mad Men dislaying a high level of talent and getting awards. It will take more than a ton of publicity to get respect and land good roles, hopefully she doesn't think getting into bed with this man will help. But Blake has surprised me, I never thought she would be the type to succumb to plastic surgery either. Her personality seems very different on and off camera...

It's always been that way...but now the pimps seem to have rather terrible taste. Back in the day they found girls like Dietrich, Monroe, Hayworth....what are they finding now....? I have to disagree. Blake is still young. Her acting isn't the best but she has time to learn. What better way than learn than from Maria Bello or Robin Wright and working with Ben Affleck movie. From what I have heard about Blake is that she is very professional. She was working on gossip girl and with Ben Affleck at the same time. She isn't Lindsay Lohan. There is nothing worse than a good actress being a b*tch on set. Remember time is money in hollywood. Being professional goes a long way.

Blake can really be the next Gwyneth Paltrow. Her family connections, blond, tall. The all American look. And look what Harvey did to Gwyneth. He gave her an Oscar. But remember Gwyneth was owned by Harvey for years. And Blake better be careful because the man will not go away.

I don't think she's doing bad, which makes this item seems strange on her end...she is doing small roles in quality films. The Green Lantern rumor started in an Australian paper, so I doubt it will pan out.

I have seen the guess on ONTD too. I had no idea who she even was before googling her but she seems to fit too.

I have two issues with that choice:

- Lainey never ever mentioned her, and she always makes her BI about people she talks about in her normal posts. Gretchen is not on her radar so why would she suddenly make a BI about her? That would be the most random thing ever.
- Also, the spitefulness of the post: she describe the reject as talentless and pointless, and she notoriously hates Alba. Is Gretchen known as a dreadful actress? Where is the evidence Lainey hates her?

The fact that most people still recognize Alba's name shows that she hasn't dropped off the radar entirely. And a lot of people at ONTD (and some in this post, I'll bet) had to Google Gretchen, which means she is definitely off the radar and perhaps at the point where she is desperate to revive her career. Plus, there is that photo of her at the Inglourious Basterds premiere... does anyone have a shot of Alba at a recent Weinstein film premiere?

The Gretchen Mol evidence is quite strong, but I don't think that anybody could say that Jessica Alba's career is doing well...I mean I assume she wanted to transfer all her hype into a more serious and prestigious career (awards, critical acclaim, etc.) none of which ever panned out nor will it ever pan out (which is predictable since she has no talent). So I'm gonna have to guess Alba just because Lainey has always been vocal about her meandering career and lack of talent, where as Mol has never been mentioned on the site.

Though it is a toss up...
did anybody ever see Music From Another Room? It had her and Jude Law in it and wasn't too bad actually. Also, wasn't Gretchen Mol in some TV show about the '70s, or somebody being flashed back to the '70s? was that cancelled?

This popular celeb couple has an image problem. It being that the female REALLY cares about how she and her partner are perceived and the male couldn’t care less. The female is so obsessed about the PR side of their relationship, about looking to be secure and in love, that it is driving the male to resent her. He is starting to want out, because the harder she pulls the further he pushes away. We hear although she is super famous and beautiful, she is incredibly insecure. Her whole focus of the relationship has long ago moved away from passion and more about appearance. Over the holidays, the male tried to do some normal activities that a family would do and the female was determined to turn it into a PR event. The two ended up in a very heated argument, and the male left and spent the night with another woman. This happens more and more frequently. The female claims she doesn’t care, as long as the male shows up when she needs him to. We fear the relationship is doomed, which will break a lot of hearts- and not just those of their fans. Not Tom and Katie.

People are saying Brangelina but I disagree.
Brad not caring about his image? Please, he's the bigguest control freak in Hollywood after Tom Cruise.
It sounds more like a Victoria and David Beckham dynamic to me altough considering the source I don't think it should be taken seriously.

i agree about Brad, him and Angelina couldn't be a better ego match then they are.
i don't think it's Beckhams either, even though Victoria enjoys the spotlight they're very protective of their children and paps closeup. i remember when she made a scene cus one of the paps came too close one of the kids, she was maaaad. dunno.
