Yeah, I think that was a slap in everyone's face when she got the bra that year. She probably couldn't even believe it. But yes, I think it was because of the whole Nick Cannon thing.

I can't believe they did that.. but they have a strange way of chosing the model for the FB. But in 2007 they broke the chain of chosing models who already wore the FB.bra more than once and chose a new model Selita. In 2006 they chose KK who already wore the bra.. in 2005 they chose Gisele who already wore it.. and the years before it's mostly worn by Heidi, Tyra or Gisele..

Why didn't the show air?! This is the first time that I'm hearing of this. Nevermind, that was during the AAA tour, right? I never realized they picked someone to wear the bra that year. That was dumb.

^The MDB (Million Dollar Bra) is something they have done every year as a publicity thing, regardless of whether or not there is a show. In 2004, they did the AAA (Angels Across America) tour to not only get some publicity for the Angels, as Adriana and Alessandra were not as well known to the general public, but there was also the whole Janet Jackson/Super Bowl incident earlier that year.HighMaintenance, you said a couple pages back that all the Angels should get a chance to open. An easy way to do that is to take a look at the fashion shows in India, because they frequently have multiple models coming out at the same time, or models coming out separately but returning as a group. That's one easy way to do it, or better yet, have one portion of the show that is just for the Angels/Behati/other senior VS folk, and have it feature the MDB as well as the more opulent pieces.

^^ I think that is a great idea as well Trista! Like the Angels/faces of a VS-line (Behati for example) presenting the Million Dollar Bra in one segment and another Angel is wearing the bra.. so you can clearly see that it's about the Million Dollar Bra and see who the Angels are.. and maybe introduce another Angel.. (if there's going to be one..) I can't remember there was a year where the Angel line up was the same as the year before

There's a weird vibe around VSFS this year. First the Vogue-announcement and we still don't know who's going to wear the FB and Adriana & Heidi both being a part of the show.. it's going to be really different.

Heidi saying that she doesn't know if she'll be able to make it this year and Adriana saying that she won't make it this year when they both have to or will - That's weird. I agree about the whole weird vibe though. I think people are either going to be really upset or really happy with this year's show. It makes it kind of exciting! I'm just glad that it's in New York. Now only if I could go. I hope they at least do a signing.

^ weird indeed. Why does VS confirm that Adriana will be there? I think VS is being to hasty about confirming Adriana's presence. What if she gives birth exactly at the end of October and the show will take place at the beginning of November or mid November?

I don't know, but like CC said the Angels have to participate, so maybe she's shooting something ahead of time if she can't actually be there too. I think they'll have to shoot her ahead of time anyway regardless. I think she'll be there in the flesh also. She lives in New York, so it's not like she'll have to go far from the baby.

I think both Adriana & Heidi will be there in flesh and will host or do something backstage. I don't think they should participate on the runway.. let those other Angels shine this year and let the two of them do the hosting part..

I have a feeling one of them will host (maybe Heidi; like she did in 2006) and one will be a backstage interviewer-they're still involved but not actually on the runway. The most absurd of my ideas is that they could design some maternity wear for them, but I highly doubt that.

^ I agree.. it would be absurd if both of them do appear on the runway or one of them.. like I said before.. let Heidi & Adriana to the hosting/interview stuff and let the other Angels and models do the show..

Hedi and Adriana will probally do some pre-taped segments like they always do every year for the show. I doubt that either of them will physically be there.

ugh no more backstage antics. I hate those. especially when they cut the time that you see the actual clothes and models on the runway.

Yeah, I hate that too. Like when someone is coming down the runway and they cut away to backstage and cut back and they are already at the end and making their way back. However, I'm only watching to see Adriana anyway, so maybe I won't be so pissed this year. Maybe since they'll most likely split the dialogue between the two it won't be the "Heidi show" as much.
