and just as i suspected, lais also got crap treatment re: her fantasy bra, just like jas last year. you still think lais is a vs fave, armani?

i'll tell you who's a vs fave: jo. she'll for sure get a segment when she gets her bra. same as taylor. as for jais? they don't seem to be bothered getting crapped on, both seem fine sitting on their perfectly toned bums, not getting the respect they deserve still drinking the kool-aid. but hey, as the saying goes, if they like it i love it.

as for me, i'm done with this trash company.

i'll stick with following black actresses, who are landing covers, starring as leads on tv and film and making moves behind the scenes with production companies. even actress laura harrier, former model, has lv, ck, kenzo and bulgari contracts, more than she got as a model. becoming an actress was the best thing she could've done for her modeling career i'll still follow jais on ig but that'll be the extent of my support at this point.

Ok the footage is really beautiful in that commercial but WHAT THE FLAMING PILE OF $#!^ IS THAT SONG?!?! It aaaaabsolutely does not fit whatsoever. Just a complete and utter disaster of a choice.

I will say - on the positive - that the models all look truly stunning. Taylor, especially, just really stands out to me in this footage. She's giving me strong Isabeli in SI throwback feels.

Does anyone think that Behati will resign soon? I can't see her working much after baby #2. She only briefly worked with Versace & a skincare brand after she had her first child. It also doesn't really make sense for VS to keep her on if she's not available to shoot for them.

Hey - people can come to realizations at any point in their lives or careers.

I mean, Adriana has literally been taking her clothes off and modeling lingerie in sexy photoshoots and videos for damn near 2 decades. It's made her famous the world over and millions upon millions of dollars. And YES, the reality is that obviously it's a pretty empty profession. We worship these women because they are the pinnacles of beauty, but ultimately, being a VS Angel isn't really contributing anything useful or empowering or positive to the world. Adriana has been involved with charitable endeavours and humanitarian causes in the past - perhaps as she gets closer to turning 40 those things just resonate with her more strongly.

I think she's a great addition to the roster, honestly. She's super beautiful, vibrant, has a different kind of energy than the other Angels. She's already becoming a bit of a fashion star (which would surely in tandem with her social media influence when she becomes and Angel). Plus, she's a red head! And, correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think VS has ever had a red head Angel before (Tyra during the "Angels Across America" tour does not count. haha)

I'm not following VS very closely, but I remember that Anja Leuenberger posted on insta that she was shooting for VS PINK in winter (probably January already) of this year. She seemed so genuinely excited an happy about it and also posted pics of herself in PINK stuff while shooting.
But I've never found any of the pictures, neither on the VS site nor on her insta or via google. Does anybody know if they ever came out? And if they didn't, is that a common procedure for VS (as in: a sort of test shoot for newbies)?

A rundown of the 2018 VSFS currently, courtesy of vsdiaries on Instagram (my favorite VS account, she's like a detective!) and my own suspicions.

- There's a high possibility that this year's show will be the second show to be held in London. The "Making Of" videos are already being shot, and the vast majority of it is being shot in London and the New York headquarters. (2018 VSFS will be in New York)
- It is confirmed that Barbara Fialho will be one of the fitting models for this year's show, making her almost guaranteed to be walking her seventh show for the brand.
- Devon Windsor, Cindy Bruna, and Dilone's status as fitting models are unknown as of right now.
- It is rumored that Leomie Anderson and Aiden Curtiss are fitting models for this year's show as well, as they were seen in London doing work for VS.
- About Behati... this year's show is the deciding factor as to whether or not she'll remain an angel. If she makes her comeback, that's proof for us that she's still set on working with VS. If not, her focus is probably on her family.
- Candice will probably be walking the show, she gave birth 2 weeks ago.
- Grace Elizabeth is somewhere between the PINK and VS brands right now. She's seemingly on track to becoming an angel and transitioning fully into VS.
- Zuri, on the other hand, is definitely still a PINK girl, and VS treats Maggie Laine like a spokesmodel for PINK as well. Chances are they'll both be walking their third show this year.
- VS will be doing a lipsync video to a Miley Cyrus song from her upcoming album. Miley herself will be in the video, along with (confirmed) models Martha, Grace E., and Alexina (seemingly a VS and Ed Razek favorite right now). Lameka Fox was on the same set as Martha/Grace/Alexina, so she might be in the video as well. Miley was wearing wings for some shots, apparently.
- Josephine and Martha will be doing VS promo in Hong Kong.
- Ming's been getting a lot more work from VS since her fall in last year's show, and there will probably be some controversy if she doesn't get the show this year, so I can definitely expect to see her again this year.
- Isabeli Fontana has confirmed on her YouTube channel she doesn't plan on walking another VS show or attending another casting.
- Some PR casting moves VS might or might not attempt making this year (these are my own suspicions, not confirmed): Danielle Herrington (SI cover, has worked with the Angels before), Hailey Baldwin o_O (Bieber's fiance, and Hadid-Jenner friend, did castings before), Robin Holzken (who often works with VS, almost as much as the Angels, done castings before), Duckie Thot (big on social media, attended last year's castings and didn't make it to callbacks), the dozens of veteran models who weren't casted last year, Ming Xi/Gizele Oliveira (after the fall last year), Barbara Palvin (she worked with them for the first time in years recently), Karlie Kloss (former angel, walked last year's show), Bella Hadid/Gigi Hadid/possibly Kendall Jenner if her La Perla contract is done??? (for reasons we've all heard before), Kate Grigorieva/Irina Sharipova/Dasha Khlystun/Julia Belyakova/Mayowa Nicholas (their visas were denied for last years show), Jasmine Sanders (linked with Kim Kardashian, has worked for VS before and casted for them as well), Katy Perry performance (she was banned from China, so she couldn't perform last year)

And newfound info from last year's show:
- Gigi Hadid was originally supposed to wear Alexina Graham's outfit in Punk Angels.
- Katy Perry and Harry Styles were originally scheduled to be the performers in last year's show. Just them two

Top 3 Angels the VS fans want to see wear this year's Fantasy Bra:

3) Candice (or Sara, if we're talking Instagram)

Would absolutely love to see Elsa get the fantasy bra! And I have a strong suspicion if they do announce any new Angels, Alexina will be chosen. She's perfect for the brand and they need a redhead.

Also I feel like very few of these New Angels have kinda crossed over into superstar status. We're still here checking this thread, and obviously getting an Angel contract is still a MAJOR thing for a model ... but it really does feel like the prestige and exclusivity of it has died, non?

I can't believe how the prestige went way down. I think the quantity over quality really killed the angel status.
