Project Runway Season 6

Based on the models that wore the final looks on each show i'd say that:
collection number one is Althea's
collection number two is Carol Hannah's
collection number three is Irina's

I'm so happy with the winner. When they were showing all the collections on the runway, it wasn't even close. Irina's collection looked even better than it did in pictures. It really looked like a real collection. It was very cool and edgy and well done. The others - good people, but I didn't care for their collections at all. So congrats Irina. You deserve it.

I'm also really happy Kalyn won. She was my favorite model of them all. So all in all, good night for me.

Irina's styling really bothered me because I know i've seen that exact same styling (helmet, tight sleek ponytail) in another collection but I can't quite figure it out. I'm wondering if i'm just thinking of the Balenciaga Fall '06 rtw collection.

i didnt like Irina's personality, but overall i think she deserved it...considering the whole season and her final collection

hopefully the next season is actually full of great talent the whole way through

I wanted Irina to win all throughout the competition, but I think her collection was dissappointing

I really wish Ari Fish had survived the first episode. I interviewed her recently and she's just such an incredibly smart and creative person. Can we please stop having catty non-visual artist celebrity judges? Lohan and Klum didn't get it, but I feel certain someone like Roberto Cavailli or Karl Lagerfeld would have embraced her above the entire cast.

I wish Project Runway's future guest judges would have more invested in fashion than the ones we've seen this year. I can understand Christina Aguilera being invited to judge a challenge in which the task is to design a stage look for her (an interesting challenge in itself), but Rachel Bilson? Eva Longoria? Lindsay Lohan? Really?

I have nothing against these people per se, and I understand finding celebrity guest judges who are truly involved in fashion beyond red carpet style might prove to be a challenge (esp. in the long run -- this was, after all, already the series' 6th season), but I distinctly remember a time when Project Runway featured guest judges who didn't all have an IMDb résumé. How about featuring less celebrity judges next season, so that when a celebrity is invited to join an episode of the show, it is all the more a surprise and distinction to the contenders? Also, this would allow a wider range of choice in terms of who's invited to guest judge and why.

Really, this season I was only happy to see Milla Jovovich guest judge on the show. With her extensive modeling background and fashion design experience in the shape of Jovovich-Hawk, she was a most appropriate guest judge, I thought. Too bad the challenge (and the resulting designs) of that particular episode were endlessly boring.

I agree, Milla was wonderful to see on the show.

I just got around to season six. Even barely into the season, I wasn't pulling for anybody... and what was with all the trash talk this season?

Irina clearly was the strongest of all (most) of them, but her attitude sucks. I couldn't stand her...

I was looking through my September issue, though, and saw something very, very similar to her "Aspen" outfit, and it was by Michael Kors. I recognized the ensemble right away!
