VS messed up so badly the day they switched their strategy to try to appeal more to teenagers than the adult women who can actually afford their $50 bras. Their current lineup of "Angels" are also too easily "attainable" and not aspirational enough, which was the secret of the former/original angels - people wanted to be these WOMEN.

Of their current girls, I'd only keep Behati and Candice, and add Kloss who is a tremendous public presence now, Joan, Ashley Graham (they need this), Cindy Bruna, Sui He and Grace Elizabeth. They also need to keep these girls on for periods of 5 years. The constant adding/subtracting of their main spokesmodels cheapen the whole brand and negates the exclusivity factor.

They ain't ready yet.

Alexina Graham is gorgeous but she’s so boring and her walk was TERRIBLE, no wonder why VS is going bankruptcy. Instead of doing all this bad decisions they need to replace Ed Razek. A fresh mind.

Putting on shows where the women are objectified as sex accessories and campaigns where the women are photographed as nothing but a mass of T&As with a head on top are not so welcome anymore. And then you have the whole issue of body diversity. The old formula may not fit these times any longer.

100%. They are stuck on the "fantasy" that Ed mentioned, and that doesn't work nowadays. And whenever they try to make the models "relatable"...it's usually a big mess.

They did a collaboration with a (I believe French) lingerie line called Livy, and when you see those big pictures next to the ones VS produces...it's not a good look for them. It makes everything look childish and cheap. Mostly cheap.

They also collaborated with 10-20 swimwear brands for their Swim comeback. The problem isn’t that you’re not opening your doors to seeing other brands’ creative outlooks, the problem is with the way you market yourself to your audience - losing most of your core audience to market to a younger one almost identical to PINK isn’t working. Anyways, tomorrow we’ll probably get another Angel announcement.

They need to focus on the quality of their products and their advertisements , thats it .Whats the point of adding more angels , when the current crop isnt capable of shifting the merch.

Unfortunately Kendull has massive power when it comes to attracting audiences and new customers, specially younger ones. Everything she does when it comes to fashion and advertising it's almost always guaranteed you get a response, positive or negative.

I don’t think anyone was expecting Leomie, but boy am I happy to see her become an Angel. I’ve been seeing quite a few nasty comments about how she shouldn’t be an angel and I don’t understand where it comes from? She’s an INCREDIBLE businesswoman/spokesperson, is the first British black angel, brings so much energy and attitude to the runway every time she walks it, and has a very infectious personality...

Anyways, I’m happy for her. Now please, VS, let’s not add on any more...

How many angels do they have now? Something around 15? That's way too many. I wouldn't be surprised if they ended up having more angels than customers one day.,
