karlie will never be no damn gisele. gisele is on a whole different level. karlie will always be "cute karlie" because she doesn't have the sex appeal. i dont find her sexy. she has more of the cute girl next door look. and im just giving my opinion.

I disagree, i think Karlie is effin gorgeous! She owns the Runway when ever shes on it.

Yeh Gisele is on her own other level but maybe Karlie will kick her off it! It all depends on how she comes across when its aired...

also, as far as the whole karlie-klosstroversy - i think she did well for it being her first time, especially considering she's only 19. vs approached her to do the show, which means they see some potential in her, and i think she'd be perfect for pink. she's got that cutesy all american thing written all over her.

I'm going to laugh if Karlie doesn't do anything for VS after this or better yet if she's not even a part of the show next year.

I have to say she looked much better in motion than in the still photos. Mostly because she is such an amazing catwalker!

Since I'm not a close follower of her thread I don't know how she normally looks when she's all smiley. So, I was really shocked with how poor she photographed.

Perhaps, if she is the future of VS they will work with her on her on that.

Twitter is definitely the place where I go to have my news confirmed, so now everything makes total sense... it still looked kind of ridiculous, and if she did it because she got loud applause, it's still going to look ridiculous on the show because the audience noise is definitely dimmed down anyway.

It was confirmed by several people who attended the show....and actually VS usually keeps the applause in the final edit...just go back and listen to the past shows.

This show had so much potential with the outfits, then they go ruin it with all that music. The preview made my ears bleed. The VS Show is becoming so lazy. The music producer is hired for a reason, and he/she should be making remixes. They really need to fire the music producer.

In terms of outfits, this year was on par with last year. But last year's music had so much over this year.

Candice was as boring as ever. She's runs out of steam before she even hits the open part of the runway. Where's Adriana and her wacky expressions and energy? MAJOR FAIL.

But despite all my criticism, I still will wait for the final edit.

I don't like how VS is all about girly/cute esthetic now, both casting and costume wise. Also they became kinda lazy with the set design and music (2005 and 2006 remixes still give me so much life).

I'm not talking about Karlie being the new Gisele or replacing Gisele or whatever. The biggest thing VS ever had on their roster of angels was Gisele. Forget Heidi, Tyra, or whoever with their pointy fingers and bouncy flouncy waving. Gisele was another category. Not necessarily a better or worse category, but a different category. She had grace, elegance, sex and knew how to switch the flirtiness on and off at the right moments. What I can judge from Karlie's pictures and the energy she is giving in them, she could develop into the next girl that has all those qualities. A combination of qualities that neither of the current Angels have. They're just flirty and sexy, which works fine for them. I'm not saying that she's battling Gisele or the other veterans right now, but Karlie's potential is just so obvious. It's up to VS to milk that cow and make it happen.

Oh and I am not talking about her leading the Pink army in the future...I'm talking about the entire Angel army If VS does it right.

I agree, VS Manage her right she would be something really special to the brand. She is only 19-20, she is only young. She has the whole package. Perfect spokesmodel, genuine personality, tall, good body, and fantastic walk. Plus there are a lot of teenage girls who look up to Karlie. That video of her walking and posing in front of Kanye, shows the girl has starpower.

She will never be Heidi, Tyra, Gisele, Adriana. She will be Karlie
