Enough of lumping Erin together with Chanel, Lily and Lindsay! Sorry guys but i am sick of it. You know Erin has one of the best body in VS and also is a great spokesmodel. Just because she is blonde doesn't mean that haters should see her beauty as a regular

I don't think Erin has been bad rated by this thread, neither lindsay... only some comments about her personality, but if you summarize the thread i think there has been way more positive comments about Erin than negative ones. So she's not in the same Bag with Chanel.

I can't say the same about Chanel or Lily A.

I think that's because Erin and Candice are younger than Miranda and Doutzen. If Erin and Candice stay the way they are, they will stay in VS for many years!

On the other hand we all know that Adriana's (i love her) and Ale's story is gonna end soon. So VS tries to fix everyone's attention on the new angels like Erin and Candice-IMO

That is so NOT happening, they're both just 30 & they're VS biggest money makers, there's no way in hell VS will let them go for at least the next five years, I'm sure Dri & Ale will put a Heidi/Tyra on VS & stay until they decide to go

However, i do think that VS is pushing Erin/Candice because Miranda & Doutzen will be too old by the time Adriana & Alessandra leave so they won't have many years left if VS so i guess they want to start giving younger girls more chance to shine so people will be more familiar with them in a few years, which is basically what they did by pushing Gisele, Adriana & Alessandra while Heidi & Tyra were there.

Now, i think it's stupid to push Erin & Candice as none of them seem to have the whole package to me & i don't see them staying with VS for the next 7 years so to say, but that's personal opinion & i don't think that any of the new girls has the potential to go Adriana/Gisele/Alessandra huge because they all seem to lack something either personality, a nice body, ability as an spokesperson, star power at the show, etc. I feel like they're all missing something & I'm not saying this a fan but as a VS costumer, none of the new girls really get me half as excited for their products as the old girls do

I don't see why there's so much bitching about this. tFS may dislike Chanel Iman, but the rest of the world just sees a pretty girl and pretty girls sell lingerie well.

Race has nothing to do with beauty and appeal, because the average person will think that ALL of VS models are 'pretty', no doubt about it!
Race only becomes relevant when we're talking about political correctness and representation. Part of the reason why Asian, Black and Latino girls are cast is because VS wants to appear pro-equality and non-racial. But again, the girls are ALL pretty to the average consumer and therefore race has nothing to do with who buys what.

Let me make Chanel's position clear on my own behalf.. i don't like Chanel, not because of her skin color or ethnicity. You know there's no accounting for taste..And there is something about Chanel make me irritated. Just because she is a HF girl doesn't make her she should look down on others - IMO (i feel that way) And her drunk walk explains everything i wanted to say. What i don't like about her is she has that histrionic personality type.. anyway it's not about race-trust me.

same here let me just add that my dislike for chanel in VS are a mix of a LOT of things!

1.- VS pushing her,n making her as the Sexy girl when her body,face wasnt ready.
2.- if she would had started with just VS pink.that will be a different Story.she does fit the Pink Image.
3.- i think chanel her self,n VS got confused on what to do with her.
a. chanel clearly need it to gaing _____(we cant talk here) n she did.but then,she kinda got stock doing a lot of Pink.
b. VS seem to be really weird in the way they used Chanel.as of lately she is not doing the amount of work she was doing 1 yr ago. n in the show well she just walk with two outfits n that was it.huge difference from last yr.

n the last thing in my Mind of disliking chanel is b/c she is black.
that really is not a problem.

She was supposed to have 2 outfits last year but got the third one last minute - this year she was supposed to have three outfits but there were fit issues with the third so it isn't like she's getting downgraded with the company. She's done a couple of their big mainline promotions as well as doing a handful of solo launches for Pink and the mainline during Valentine's Day (promotional appearances in Toronto).

Her walk this year I don't even get, because it isn't like she can't walk - see her walk from the 2009 show in both the All Aboard and Pink segments.

I get that she isn't everyone's cup of tea but you have to give credit where it was deserved. Just because you don't like her doesn't mean that she hasn't been doing her thing with the company. They went for her in the way that they went for Karlie this year and if they really were over her they'd just do her like they did Emanuela.

I never liked Chanel on the VS, or any runway really. I get the worst vibe from her and her body is 100% NOT what I think of when I think of "Victoria's Secret". I honestly think she's alright on the HF runway but she just doesn't have the curves nor the vivacity for VS. Too boring, too plain.

No, Izabel left before her contract was over, she should have been up for renewal at the same time as Selita but by the time of the show in 2008 she was gone already. Karolina i have no idea of what happened there, Selita on the other hand i think they decided not to renew her & by now they are 100% over her

Yes that what happened even some people will say that they left on their own terms. I remember at the time KK was having issues with that topic that can't be discussed, and it was already rumored that Selita and Izabel contract wasn't renewed . Was Emanuela ever officially an Angel or people just assumed she was one because her three looks at the 2009 VSRS and some commercials that she did?

Not in this thread bc they both looked amazing at the show, and noone had the balls to say anything negative after that. But people are always bitching about them in the main Victoria's Secret thread.
