Personally 1D would be perfect for Pink, it's a mutual win win situation. London based, targets the same demo..... If VS can snatch Beyonce it would be the cherry on top but I doubt it, Iggy is possible, maybe Ariana as well and give a 1+2 punch.

Toni don't go, is sure she is in Germany. Look at her instagram. But hell yes, I'm sure that jacquelyn jablonski says in her instagram is about VSFS. So if is true about Ping and Erin close de 40 girls, and we need more.

i still don't really get it, castings are over and fittings started? so anybody who's not in NY at the moment is out? Fittings could as well continue until next week, or do we know for sure this won't be the case?

I have to say I'm a little disappointed with the castings
I had to google a few girls (Ping, Kate G, Stella Maxwell ...). Stella espcially doesn't seem to fit imo but maybe she will prove me wrong.
But mostly I'm upset that I don't see anything about Edita. Her body is perfect and she'd be ''in the group'' with those more womanly, older models to balance out with young ones. And I expected also Lily D and Malaika ...

^ I assume they meant from Asia, as Yumi is Belgian/European. She is also only one-quarter Japanese.

Yumi is extremely white passing. No one watching the show who didn't follow her would know she was Japanese.
Ping is a really great choice. I hope they round the cast off with Sui, Liu and Ming.

^definitely!!! Sui he and Ming Xi are 99% confirmed after their photoshoot for 10 magazine. Looks like every model will get only 1 outfit this year

I think a lot of these newcomers will get one outfit in the PINK section and that's it.

lots of them are beautiful, but i do feel like VS lost a bit of its prestige this year. as someone earlier already said, VS claims to be the "Superbowl" of fashion shows, but where are the top players in the industry? most of them are absent.

As far as newcomers are concerned, I think it's a very solid cast and sexy/cute girls who all have great potential to blossom into VS angels in the traditional sense (Daniela Pestova, Stephanie Seymour, etc.). They may not be the most HF, but I always thought VS should pick the girls out of the fashion flock that made sense for its brand. However, I will agree that there are other sexier options still within the HF world to choose from. But it seems they are going for a new and fresh cast, which makes sense if they are trying to find their next generation of angels.

My biggest problem with the cast is just how young it is. Adriana/Ale will definitely look out of place not because they are older, but because of the star power and experience they'll bring to the show. Without any of their contemporaries there it makes it seem more likely that this is their goodbye to VS (even though I don't think that's quite the message VS wants to send). I think we can kiss goodbye the hopes of Isabeli/KK/Natasha-types appearing.

^yeah I am having the same problem as well. While I am super happy with the new girls that have been picked, it is such a young cast. Most of these girls are barely legal to even walk. No one outside of the the industry, let alone a lot of people in the industry, have no clue or barely any clue who a lot of these girls are. Most women watching are going to get why there are so many young looking girls in the line up.
