Have they officially said how many segments they were having? With this many girls maybe they've added another segment or something? As long as they don't cut out like half the walks like last year (poor Kasia)...

I'm really not surprised that the cast is so big actually. I imagine casting Stella Maxwell, Taylor Hill and Irina Sharipova (who are these people?) costs less than getting Natasha Poly to sport three looks. Or maybe I'm naive in thinking that.

You might be right, Natasha polys rate for walking the show is probably quadruple the rate of all three of these girls combined. But it would be well worth it. I mean... It's natasha. Cmon.. Pay the flippin money

I dont think money is a problem... Is VS, im sure that 70% of the girls in that list will do the show for free, just for the exposure.

VSFS is the only "fashion" show SO many people in the world care. Even in my country were fashion does not exist, a lot people wait to see it every year...

I personaly knew, and saw for the firts time, a lot of HF models (years ago)... Like Natasha P and Raquel Z... Thanks to VSFS!

VS is clearly changing things up this year- two FB bras, new location- I'm sure there will be more segments, and I have the feeling the show will hve longer than it normally is. I believe Kate G already confirmed she was given more than one look (I can't double check because her instagram is suddenly private), but if the newcomers are getting multiple looks, I'm sure the veterans will be too.

I wonder why another model said she didn't get cast because she was too young while Taylor Hill is 18 I'm almost sure, and walking. . She is the youngest so far alongside Romee Strijd, Kelly Gale and Yumi Lambert (19).
I have made a list with each model's age to see the average age.

Edit : I forgot Imaan Hammam, she's also 18.

I think in this instance, too young means too inexperienced/too green/not ready instead of calendar age. Also, Dalianah has a more adult, sexy look and was probably being considered for the main show. I don't see her doing Pink at all. I bet anything that Yumi, Romee, and Imaan, along with Maud, Kate G., Taylor Hill, and Daniela Braga will only walk Pink. VS has made it pretty clear that the vast majority of Pink models are Pink only.

I really think this is overdue. Their biggest stars are going to retire sooner than later, and Candice and Lily are nowhere near famous enough to take their places (though they are getting there). Karlie also has a big following, but shes still really new with the brand compared to the other angels.

VS needs new superstars, and I think they are being proactive by bringing girls in who can grow with the brand. Some of VS's most popular models did not come from HF. Daniela Pestova did more swimsuit/lingerie than HF. Heidi never had a HF career. Tyra, Candice, and Miranda's HF careers were brief. I can see models like Stella, Sara, Irina, etc going the same way.
