ok, i actually love Gigi's little turn at the end of the runway during the PINK segment. it's fun and sexy and somehow not cheesy. i approve.

I know people hate Gigi, but in that short clip of her in Pink, the girl BROUGHT IT. She is a fit for the brand and I want to see her in more shows if that's the kind of energy she brings.

Yay to Magda, Ale, Iza, Adriana, Shanina, Lily D & Maria.
Behati, Jac, Jacquelyn, Josephine, Sara, Kate & Sui were ok.
The others were just meh.
Gigi didn't look bad but neither she nor Kendall could save this mess.
And I just feel bad for Lily even though I don't like her, she's got the worse bra in years and thanks god Doutzen left and didn't have to wear that.

To me Gigi did great with both of her looks, if she gets a lot of focus in the final edit, she deserves it IMO.

Okay based off of that video why was Behati chosen to open again, it was lackluster. Gigi looked phenomenal, and Alessandra absolutely killed it.

sidenote: so happy for Sui He, she finally gets wings after all these years. And on both looks too, even if the other one is recycled Candice wings from Heavenly Bodies. And speaking of Heavenly Bodies, if they're going to re-use wings, bring out that harp wing. that thing was gorgeous.

My favorite part about this years show was how all the new girls/angels have spent days and weeks bragging on social media about their participation and how great it's gonna be and just a constant barrage of self promotion and then Alessandra just silently shows up without so much as a whispered word and just shuts the whole runway down. I mean my god!! That women has never looked better. I think I just fell in love with her all over again.

Behati's walk was seriously so underwhelming. Very disappointed, especially seeing that I love her. She'd be better off wearing a fantasy bra then opening the show. Gigi gave me LIFE. This is the girl's domain, COMMERCIAL work. She KILLED it.

As much as we'd want them to, they're not creating art here; this is a big expensive commercial. They need viewers to justify doing it. Shame the show is more tack than class.

Most of these new models seem indistinguishable from one another. I remember when they put girls like Karen Elson and Omahyra Mota out there - models with a bit of edge and personality. I miss that.

A few impressions from the photos so far:
Ale and Adriana have still got it!
Gigi looks great and a natural in this context- they should be signing her up.
Kendall to me still looks like a 14-year old playing dress up.
Magda should have had more than one outfit (and her backstage riposte to the TMZ guy is still the best thing about the show so far this year).
I really like Josephine but they look like they seriously overdid the fake tan on her this time.
I read that article about Megan Puleri - the whole thing sounds a bit dodgy. Didn't think she looked great but I'm kinda feeling sorry for her now after everyone laid into her. Hope she doesn't read this thread!

This! She looked really awkward and definitely not sexy! She's a beautiful girl but she doesn't have that spark that the majority of the other models have. She was so nervous that she tripped a little during the first show. She tried too hard to be sexy and that was weird.

The whole show was a bit of a bore.... Pink was terrible as per the norm. I had high hopes of Portrait of an Angel. But that was wasted. Boho was just.... Boho. And Exotic Butterflies looked like clothes from previous shows.. I like Ice Angels the most but even that was a rip off of snow angels. :/

I loved Kate and Elsa's IA the most.

Was hoping the experts at Bellazon would post some more pics but BZ has been down all day!

Victoria's Secret Model Shuts Down Food-Shaming Reporter

TMZ was up to its usual trolling tricks backstage at Tuesday's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in New York City.

Their video opens with Behati Prinsloo on a table in her underwear, posing and turning as photographers shout directions at her. Props to her. Standing and turning and holding that many poses in a row is tough. Like, try smiling for a minute in a row. Your face starts to hurt. Now try striking the same poses for five minutes. It’s exhausting.

Then the TMZ cameraman went to a notoriously touchy subject: food. First, he noted that nobody was touching the sandwiches on display. Nobody eats at fashion events because they're, you know, working. Except me. I’m always hovering by craft services, afraid that a stylist will ask me something and I'll have to tell them that I'm just a writer.

Second, he asked some models about their cravings. Shanina Shaik and another model said they'd go for fairly obvious things: Ben and Jerry's, pizza, the classics.

Magdalena Frackowiak, though, was having none of his ****. She initially waved him off before admonishing him to ask smarter questions. We have to say: You go. Victoria's Secret models have to go through enough to prep for the show without some creep shoving a microphone in their face asking about cravings.

Plenty of models have been speaking out in favor of eating healthy foods, not no foods. As Kendall Jenner told PopSugar, she eats, "Chicken and sweet potato, egg whites, and avocado” to stay in shape and her keep energy high.

Gigi Hadid took Vogue to see her intense boxing workout at Gotham Gym. These women work out like professional athletes. In fact, they are professional athletes. The only difference is that their field is a catwalk and nobody is trying to dunk on them.

Not yet, anyways.
