Project Runway Season 5

The fourth season was downright terrible.

This one looks better, if people haven't given up on PR due to season 4.

Like most of you, I too think the plastic cup guy should have won. I didn't like the winning garment at all.

On another note, I feel the show is relying too much on designers that make "good tv" and not on people who have actual talent. In my opinion, the second season has had the best designers and since then, I've been a bit disappointed. The third season was good but I wasn't fond of the fourth.

Where are all the Chloe's, Andrae's and Daniel's?

I agree. I was dissappointed in the first 2 mins.
Almost everyone annoys me.:innocent:

I do agree the rock chick should have gone....
What was she doing picking garbage bags....
let alone the cheapest in the whole store?

^ I had two issues with her choosing the trashbags. Like you said, they were those crappy industrial ones and she just didn't have a vision.

Truth be told, one of the things I probably would've gone for would be black garbage bags, cause you could do some cool stuff with shiny plastic as a fabric and the heavy duty ones would mold pretty well to a body....she just didn't pull that off at all.

I agree with you Spike413. It would have been different if she could have proven that she had a solid idea of what she wanted to do. I think the viewers (maybe even the judges) would have been interested in seeing what went wrong between her vision and the execution. But if there's no vision, what are you doing?! Granted, I am not a designer, so I don't know how the process works mentally, but that's just my thoughts.

No one is interesting at all. The first challenge was boring since almost everyone used cloth-like materials.

Holy crap Westley is so HOT!!!!!
It's Wesley. Worked for MJ and came on this show? Something tells me 'no'.

I like what he wore with a belt sewn onto a very thin tee first episode. he's kind of cute too.

there were lots of other people who had ALOT worse designs
i didn't really think his was that bad..

Supposedly Wikipedia leaked the next 4 eliminations in a chart on the Project Runway Season 5 page (the chart has since been taken down). If anyone is interested, The Gawker has a screen cap of the chart. Only time will tell if the spoiler is accurate.
