Funny quote on a Guardian article saying the same thing:

"A VS executive told Women's Wear Daily that budgets were higher for the 2013 show than the 2012 edition, estimated to have cost more than $12m to produce. Given that this year's performers (Taylor Swift, Fall Out Boy, a fluoro-garbed girl group called Neon Jungle and a winsome singer-pianist by the name of A Great Big World) didn't exactly match up to Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber and Rihanna, the 2012 names, that money probably didn't go towards the musical budget. Unless Taylor Swift's rider called for her to keep those shoes"

Despite the somewhat (racially) diverse casting this year, the models looked more physically run down and busted that EVER. Please, someone fire/shoot the casting director.

- girls i want to see returning are for sure Magda, Maryna, constance, lais and SUI HE (gooosh she's gorgeous)
- i adore karlie as a hf model but why VS? so not matching for me. same goes for cara
- i miss the imo best vs shows 2003-2006. best music for sure in 2005 closely followed by 2006. please: one performance and the rest mixtapes like 2005 eg.

well I'm starting to believe that the VS people really do comb through these threads and take heed of the TFS members advice. I'm thankful! So in light of that,

Things members wanted last year:
More focus on the Fantasy Bra (not thrown in random segment) - check!
Less costume-y outfits - check!
Only VS Angels with 3 outfits not random girls - check!
Holiday segment with awesome outfits - check!
Diverse group of girls - ehh kinda! but B+ for effort
Less performers overshadowing the girls - nope
Stop with the choppy editing and overkill in slow motion - jury's still out on this one
Grand, elaborate set designs - doesn't really seem like it
Get rid of the freakshow that is VS PINK - go back to the cute but sexy - maybe next year?

Lais, Constance, Joan, and Magdalena were my favorites just based on the pictures.

I may be alone in this, but I wish some of the girls had different hair styles. Back in 2003 and maybe even 2004, Naomi would have a ponytail or some of the girls had shorter hair. For instance, I liked the Behind the Scenes looks at Candice with the Fantasy Bra with her hair in that loose ponytail much better than the Farrah Fawcett hair. Plus the little straps on the panty part of the outfit didn't stay up so it looks like a WonderWoman belt. lol

^ditto! I just think they were dressed by a bad stylist with an obsession for cut out dresses because all outfits were kinda similar and repetiteve.

Btw, how many outfits did Martha Hunt have? I thought VS loves her but now I think she's just another Katsia Damankova. That's a shame, she has a nice body.

erin must have had to fulfill her contract to the end of the year and maybe that included walking the show. That or VS didn't want to make it seem like there was bad blood, though Miranda didn't walk at all.

I believe she had one, but the pic I've seen has her wearing something. I can't tell if it's one of those contraptions that wrap around her body or if it was an actual pair of wings (not made of feathers, though). It kinda looked like seafoam or something else .
