My ultimate Angel line up (working with the current Angels here) would be Adriana, Candice, Doutzen and Karlie. Get rid of Alessandra (not because I want her to go, but I think VS is going to dump her soon), Behati, Lily and Lindsay and you have 4 women who can sell products and talk interviews decently.

Have you watched any of Lily or Lindsay in press? They are two of the best spokespeople VS has right now.

aside from PINK, i actually think the outfits this year are a HUUUUGE improvement to the past few. it's so much more "lingerie focused" and i think that's the best thing they could've done. it's genuinely more sexy.

yeah, Karlie really blossomed this year. she looks radiant and healthy and gorgeous. really can't wait to see her in motion; i hope they give her an edit with some lengthy shots so we can that walk in action.

Ale didn't walk it. I don't know why, but she switched into a white outfit for the finale.

Finally, now we know the real reason why Lily's walk was so awful in the previous years. It was the presence of her husband at the show.. quote from an Elle interview:

Elle: What do you think about when you’re walking? Do you have a mantra or anything you repeat to yourself?

Lily A: I don’t think about anything. If my husband [Kings of Leon lead singer, Caleb Followill] is in the audience, I’m definitely more nervous and I’m thinking about where he is. But if he’s not here I’m not really thinking about anything. He’s not going to be here today—sad!

Her walk in 2009 was fine IMO. It was very natural, but then 2010 and 2011 she got stiff and weird, and eased up a little in 2012, with a little less stiffness even if there were still some eh moments to it. Hopefully it's better this year.

A lot of sites seem to comment on how Taylor Swift could easily pass off as a Victoria's Secret angel.

Jessica Hart seems to disagree though:

Taylor Swift's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Performance Dissed By Model

We might have geeked out over Taylor Swift's fun-loving performance at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show last night, but not everyone was so keen on the singer's act.
Jessica Hart, who walked the show along with the rest of the lingerie models, told Women's Wear Daily Swift wasn't the best choice of performer.
"I think, you know what, god bless her heart. I think she's great," Hart said to WWD at the show after-party. "But, I don't know, to me, she didn't fit. I don't know if I should say that. I think what you find is that for a lot of us, we've been working for 14, 15 years; what it takes to make it here comes from experience and confidence and knowing how to be confident with yourself. I think it comes with age. It's definitely the benchmark of all jobs."
Ouch. Hart might have a point about fit -- past performers at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show have included the edgier Rihanna and Kanye West, whereas Swift has a more bubblegum vibe. But from our vantage point at the show, Swift actually pulled it off, palling around with the models on the catwalk and playing up the girly nature of the event.
Plus, in terms of experience, Swift has been singing professionally since she was 14. That probably gives her more than enough years to take the stage at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
