Well, VSFS could certainly do without ice/snow and butterfly/fairy segments for a while, and they should stop over-embellishing so much, like with Ice Angels and all those over-sized tacky headpieces and mittens, but there were still some looks I liked - bolded faves:

POOA: Sanne, Sui, Gracie, Bruna, Cindy

Fireworks: Ale, Cindy, Adriana, Joan, Behati, Maria (best look), Devon, Martha

Haha, you've completely skipped Pink.

I feel like the lingeries are covering more skin than ever. Maybe because CBS doesn't allow it...

I think the fact that its aired close to the holidays means that the snow queen sparkly themes will always be there. They need to get more adventurous though like they did in the past with Russian babes or or Heidi walking to fever as burlesque dancers did their moves or Karolina as a soldier with a gun not forgetting the accompanying mixes.

I liked the glitter too. in fact, I just want them to time travel back to around 2006, cause all the shows after that haven't been the same. bring back the French dude, while we're at it. And I know I said it before, I'll say it again, get rid of Sophia. I find her to be one of those people who can talk more about what they can do than actually do what they say they can. Re-using wings? Come on, it's a multi million dollar show. It's not about being frugal when you're pushing this image of luxe and extravagance.

well I think TMZ just being a troll,why ask food I mean?it's a freaking fashion show that only happens once a year.you could just ask her about what she's wearing and how does she feel about it,it could be a better question than that stooopid question.

That is not a "more smart" question IMO, it is another one of the typical fluff questions.

Being a troll IMO would be asking questions like "who is the biggest witch," "do you think Kendall Jenner was cast because her family connection," "do you think it's fair so and so is an angel and you aren't?"

The reporter's question was totally fine IMO, it just looked like Magdalena was stressed, or for some reason that question hit a nerve.

I think VS should stay away from working with TMZ.That whole company lacks class and is sheer trash and caters to the lowest common denominator. Why have people like that backstage.I find the lack of excitement about this show interesting. I can still remember that a VS thread would filled and now it seems dead and empty.

TMZ's stock and trade may be scandals, but in this particular incident the reporter did not seem to be trying to stir up controversy, that could've just as easily been a E!, ET or Good Morning America reporter.

What's going on in this thread is also happening in the threads for the runway shows, and undoubtedly other threads. It looks like to me that with each passing year more media outlets cover the VSFS and that may be affecting the traffic, also most recurring events have a peak but decline tends to be inevitable.

So this is a thing! Not sure how I feel about them recycling wings. A part of me thinks 'why not' they're beautiful pieces of art and deserved to be seen more than once whilst another part of me just thinks it's sloppy showmanship.

I like that. I find the show quite offensive. On mainstream TV portraying women prancing around in underwear. Aged 18-MAX 26 with the occasional 30 year old.
And I am pretty darn young - well below 26. What message is this sending?

I also find it ridiculous how VS boasts not hiring models under 18 but then says we wanted Valery but she was 17 so we waited until 18. So you are going as low as you possibly can?

Hiring older models = extending the career span of current models so agencies don't drop them by 25.

You mean Alexandre de Betak? His company still produces other fashion shows, just not this one. It certainly seems to have got a lot tackier since he stopped.

Some have suggested they re-used wings this year as a homage to past years since it's an anniversary show, but they haven't really made any special mention of it being their 20th, so who knows.

Taylor Hill got Lily Aldrige's wings from last year's "Angel's Ball", Romee got Adriana's white from 2 years ago (and even those were recycled from one of the previous years commercials), Kate G I think got Alessandra's black wings from "Angel's Ball", they just trimmed them a bit and painted a few feathers.

If they were going to recycle wings they could have chosen better ones, not those dinky little ones. Get Miranda's from 2008 and Toni Garrn's from 2011 for the Butterfly section, Karolina's mirror ones from 2006 for the Ice segment, Constance's fringe ones from "Shipwrecked" for Boho Psychedelic.
