Well looks like I'm just joining the bandwagon and saying this is bit of a let down/disaster.
The only thing I liked from it was the runway and the hair. Everything else was pretty ordinary.
The makeup was off for a lot of the girls, including favourites of mine like Lily D.

Most of the themes were so repetitive that if you showed them to me and asked what year they were from I'd say anywhere between VSFS 2010 to VSFS 2016.
I miss the days when you looked look at a random outfit and say without hesitation that it was from 2005 or 2003 or 2006. The shows now just blend into one another.

I know big HF girls were in the show again like Joan and Lily D but I wonder whether agents of HF girls who have done VSFS like Natasha, Anja, Maryna etc warn them not to do it because it's become a tad trashy.

It wouldn't surprise me if Edam became the new VS in regard to the shows they put on.

The only thing that could save VSFS next year is if they ditched casting and actually invited girls to the show and made sure they were top girls that are widely recognised in fashion.

Everything looked cheap. There were a couple of bright spots, just because of sheer star power of the girls - other then that, yikes. I don't know if it were this year's 'design concept', or the cast of models (most looked dead, too young or plain unsexy) or what. Just a cheap cheap looking show.
