I don't know why y'all are hating on Joe. No doubt it was one ugly piece of work, but it was really his first misstep. He's been relatively consistent up till that point, so I'm glad they kept him. I think they need to kick out Suade and Blayne before they get to Joe.

And I echo the sentiment about Terri. She's had a couple of really great designs while on the show, but it's true he does the same pants every week.

I think the final 3 will be 1. Korto, 2. Leanne, 3. Jerrell with Terri or Kenly making it to the Fashion week as well.

What's so "legendary" about Diane von Furstenberg? All she makes is prints prints and more prints. Very commercial.

The invention of the wrap dress...
+ the fact that she has been designing for several decades...
& many aspiring designers can learn a lot from her story/success
even if she isn't exactly their idea of 'fashion'...

I am thinking that Korto, Leann & Kenley will be the final 3...
They're the only ones with any real P.O.V...

Korto's work is always so elegant and well-made...
Just right...

Leann's attention to detail is astounding... as is her craftsmanship..

Kenley's work is really adorable... I think she has a great eye for prints...
& the 'pin-up girl' look is so cute on her...

Jerell is the Marc Jacobs of the bunch...
No signature to speak of..

Joe's work is so boring and uniform-ish...
I am certain that he'd make great uniforms...

Terry is my least favorite, however...
How she manages to be applauded every week for another pants-jacket combo is beyond me...

I am waiting for an evening wear challenge, too...
but knowing her, she'll probably do a feeble le smoking...

I loved Stella...
She was so hilarious..
& so very true to herself...
I don't think her DVF look was terrible...
It could've been really sexy had she executed it well...

Blayne is bad, but much more endearing than Christian...
He may be ridiculous, but he seems to have a soul lurking

i think there is massive possibility that Leanne will win.
she is quite creative and different but also she is the type of Project runway's favorites.

my expection of top 3 is,

Leanne, Jerell, Kenley (Kenley is sometimes neck and neck. i fancy her, but she looks more emotional than beginning. i don't mind that, but reality shows always kick off out of self-controllers )

i don't like Joe much.
and i think Korto's works are not that bad, but somehow they looks un-construted (looks like very sloppy) and amateur-esque.

Yeah but they LOOOVE Korto. She's in top 3 like every week. Plus I think they may think it's time a black designer won. So far it's been all whites and one asian (also the only woman).

I think out of all of them her work is the closest to being flawlessly executed, and consistently as well. She also seems to know how to present fashion as opposed to just presenting clothes. The hair, makeup, accessories and the pieces she pairs together always make a cohesive look.

I also think the one thing she's got over all of the other designers is range, she's shown us a lot; sportswear, party dresses, evening dresses, trousers, jackets, a coat, dramatic statement looks, wearable looks, volume, tailoring....none of the other designers have shown that much versatility in the 8 episodes. Even Leanne, who is my other favorite, has been more focused on dresses more than everything else.

I think she's one of the few PR designers that deserves all the praise she's gotten from the judges.

I have to disagree here with you, Korto's work have been amazing.
Un-construted? - Just one word (well 2) - Seatbelt Jacket!, damn that jacket was amazing!
Amateur ? hell no, i want to see Keith (he is an amateur) doind that jacket, or a dress so well made like the one in the DVF challenge !

OK, I have to admit that I haven't been all that tuned in this season - which is too weird as one of my friends is really good friends with Blayne.

But here's what I'm very confused about:
As I type there are 8 people left. If they do a double elimination, are they going to have 6 people show at NYFW this Friday (September 12)? Will there be three "decoy" collections? Does anyone know?

^ No, the episodes are filmed months ahead of fashion week. What usually winds up happening is there's like 2 or 3 episodes shown between when the fashion show happens and the time when the finale episodes are shown.

At least that's how it's always been in the past.

I swore we could look at the collections without spoiling anything. I thought they padded the time between with a few repeats, the often annoying reunion show and the "let's visit the designer at home" shows. (Tim Gunn drives a Saturn around. Heh.) We just didn't know who the decoy was for a bit. Sometimes the decoy had the best collection!

And LTEC, that's funny - I'll pass that message on! He is definitely making the most of being a reality TV celeb. Plus, he works in a coffee shop so all the PR groupies can go and visit him.

That's right, although I'm not following the rest of the timing. What can I say, I'm (artifically) blonde.

Blayne, for example, returned to Seattle in early July when filming of the basic pre-finale NYFW episodes was complete. If one is eliminated early, you get sequestered somewhere until those episodes are done, so everyone comes home at the same time. I guess you might know who's in the finale if you know they are frantically working on a collection?

Kenley - I like a lot... but it doesn't look anything like aquarius
Terri - Better with out the fur. That isn't saying much though.. looks cheap.
Korto - Yeah.. Totally didn't expect this for aquarius. Really, pump it up.
Joe - I don't want to like it because I hate joe But it's nice
Jerell - I like it.
Leanne - Favorite out of all of them.

As predicted, Terri can't design an evening dress for s***. It was the tacky girl at a renaissance fair....and that's saying something. The fact that she's such a nasty bi*ch only makes me hate that god awful creation more. But thank god she's gone.

Kenley's dress was HIDEOUS. There's nothing else to say. And she needs to SHUT UP once and a while and not argue when getting critiqued. There was nothing that would say zodiac about it no matter how much she wants to tell everyone there was. For once, Michael was dead on in his comparisons cause V&R has done that exact same sleeve before. She should've been eliminated.

Korto's dress reminded me a bit of Rodarte, just without the lightness and sophistication with color. Still, it was Aquarius.

Leannes was interesting. It's not exactly where I would've gone with Scorpio, but it did capture that dark, dangerous thing. It was probably my favorite and out of them all it was the only one that was remotely avant garde.

Blayne's was just a disgusting mess. It's like the insane dress up clothes little girls have glued onto a bodysuit. Not shocked he's gone, I think he made it farther than he should have.

Joe's was neither here nor there for me. I don't think it was avant garde, it was almost Elie Saab, down to the fabrics.

I actually liked the colors in Suede's look. But I liked Michael's comments on his third person habit even more.

Jerrell's was interesting, but I don't think it deserved to win.

I liked Terry in the beginning, but as the shows aired she came off as mean and bitter. She had such a nasty attitude in last nights episode that I actually started to feel bad for Keith and I don't even like Keith (he was a baby). So glad she's gone, her outfit looked cheap. I really liked Leanne's design and Jerrel's design. I think these two along with Korto will be top 3.
Blayne? what can I say...it was a mess! And Joe survived another week, but he'll be gone soon I think.
And Kenley, omg can she just shut up for a while? I actually like Kenley, but she was ridiculous in last night's ep.

Terri i liked her personality, and she was hilarious when she said, "He can pick the pins up off the floor." Keith's a loser.

Hmmm last night's episode was dull, and WHY do they insist on bringing back former contestants? sooo annoying, i hate that Christian POS more than Blayne.

When Getty shows pics tomorrow, dont they just say 'Project Runway' or do they tell who the designer is by? I guess it shouldnt be hard to tell.

Anyone else notice how wrecked Nina looked? Where's she been? A mental ward? She needs a facial!
