Oh God! I was like "are you serious", and I also think he should have been called out for what he made. It was not innovative, two inside out floor mats stapled together and some dollar store pom poms for a skirt?!

I felt that Blayne once again got a free pass. It was an ugly dress and it was--again--very poorly crafted.

i thought Korto's idea was cool, but it looked like a giant basketweaved marshmallow. I was surprised how everyone shat themselves over it. "OMG IT'S SO CHIC." ....

^^Thanks for that! I like a lot of the ideas Leanne has, I just wish she would use some more interesting fabrics...a lot of the intricate and impressive detailing work she's done is sometimes cheapened by the plain choices of fabric...

I agree about Leanne's and Jerrell's looking very Dolce & Gabbana SS 07...I also felt like Jerrell's had a hint of JPG HC FW 08...but maybe that was just because of the hair.

I love Leanne. I hope she at least make it to Bryant Park. Her outfits are always complete and tailored to the max. Poor Keith, as Blayne would say, he's so delusionalicious...
 
I almost wanted to scream when he called Tim "Timlicious". :yuk: Blayne is NOT cute and adorable, he is kind of creepy to me. Maybe it's all the fake tan, he's so plasticky :sick:

I was really impressed with Leanne's dress, what she and some others made out of well CAR PARTS really amazed me, not all of it is something that might sell but did show a lot of innovation with The Materials At Hand which was the point of the challenge. I did think they were right in saying Blayne's just didn't look well made, the mirrors and the style of dress he was aiming for could have been great, with some editing, and better tailoring, but it wasn't and you just can't be forgiving. And I am so glad Keith is gone, never EVER blame your poor work on others, ugh, I cannot believe he was blaming it on the model too, didn't he hear her being like 'they made me sit down' ? :angry: And the challenge where he just did what looked like a pile of rags on top of some spandex, so cheap and shoddy looking.

Not that I have a lot of pent up opinions to unload about some of the designers or anything :innocent:
 
Keith probably would've stayed if he wasn't such a schizo, seriously he is scary!

I think they're kicking all the good designers off and leaving crappy ones *COUGH* BLAYNE *COUGH COUGH COUGH*. Wesley should of stayed. >;(
 
Leanne's dress reminded me of Dolce&Gabanna's silhouette. She and that other guy whose model had the really high ponytail.

I LOVED the weaved seat belt coat. Like Rachel Zoe, I would've walked out in it.

Many of the seat-belt dresses reminded me of herve leger's bandage dresses.
 
I would love if Leanne and Korto would be in the final, but there is still many episodes to go right?

Keith totally lost it, he was a mess, and i knew he will crumble under the pressure.
 
Oh NO, Stella!!! :( She was such a crazy b*tch, love her.

Leanne's dress was flawless, that's my favorite siluette on a dress. Joe completely dropped the ball on this one, glad he wasn't eliminated though.
 
I was really sad to see Stella go. I don't love her look, but personality wise she grew on me very quickly.

Leanne absolutely deserved to win. I mean, that look was dead-on DVF, and beautiful too.

I loved the idea of that op-art print with the yellow that Korto used, but I don't get why she lopped the hem off at what is possibly the most unflattering length.

I can't say I got the hype around Kenley's dress. It fit really well, but that was the extent of it for me. I hated the print and the way she used the lace for a mock-neck that way. The whole effect was a bit...cheap.

I actually responded a bit to Blayne's look, he was onto something with the breeches idea. But, being that this is Blayne we're talking about, it turned out badly.

I can only think of one challenge when Terry didn't make pants. Yeah, she does them well, but SHAKE IT UP. It's getting boring, and I have the feeling that if they were thrown some sort of evening/red carpet/couturey challenge, she'd fall flat.

Suede's look was pure fug, just as bad as Stella's imo, except that with Stella's the design could've been saved by better execution. Suede's was just bad.

Jerrell confuses me. There's no consistency to his work. I've never actually liked anything he's done and the fact that he's still there is a joke.

Cant believe my Stella is gone. What Joe made was SO BAD he should have bailed out on his own. I dont see him as a designer at all, and he brings nothing to the show.

WTF was with Kenley talking over Heidi and everyone on the runway? Take some criticism, b*tch. And then it got really confusing when she started in on how she's only designed for 'Walmart' or 'Kmart'...ok which is it? Neither one is something to be proud of.

Joyous for Leanne. What she made was gorgeous, and the ruffles down the back were beautiful. I just hope she gets to Bryant Park next week.

I have a friend who's going to the show on the 12th, and I am (sadly) anticipating hearing who shows, even if there are a couple of them posing as decoys so we dont really know who was picked.

Jerrell last night- Uh def dont see that relating to DVB's collection.

Blayne-Sort of liked the jacket, but the rest, no.

Terri-Disappointing. After it was brought up that she makes pants every challenge and slides on by, I sort of pitted myself against her for a second. She needs to expand.

Suede-Never like what he makes, it looked like a tent on her, and his own personal style with the mismatched head-to-toe camouflage was atrocious.

Didnt like Kenley's. She's way too overly confident.

Korto looks like she ripped off the DVB dress that is shown in DVB's American Express commercial. It looked exactly the same, she just added the yellow!

What's so "legendary" about Diane von Furstenberg? All she makes is prints prints and more prints. Very commercial.
 
wtf is Joel was making? It looked like something really cheap out of the ghetto. Totally not Shanghai or Berlin or NY.

and Jerrell's outfit looked like something a really hoochie air stewardess would wear.
