I thought that was the case. I guess you can't read magazines or watch TV in case you go back in the pool like Chris did last season? Anyhow, it would be sad and lonely to be the first one eliminated, but then the shooting schedule moves pretty fast. The episodes aren't a week a part like when we're watching. You're not alone for long.

No wonder some of those friendships are deep. Probably nothing to do but chat.
 
Joe - far too conservative and far too dated. I'm all for pinstripes but you've gotta do something with them so that they seem fresh.

Leanne - cute, but not entirely memorable and for that reason it was disappointing. She's a better designer than that.

Jerrell - I liked it most out of all of them. It wasn't anything you couldn't find at Banana Republic. The skirt was a little short for a job interview, if it had hit right above the knee it would've been more believable.

Korto - a miss for me, I just didn't like it. It's not that it was bad, but I have really high expectations of her at this point. I almost wish she had paired the jacket with a maching skirt. THAT would've been a good skirt suit.

Kenley - so freakin ugly, I'm sorry. The vest was an awful touch with that dress, it just didn't go. What the judges were on to praise it I have no idea.

Suede - no comment. Someone in a creative field would never wear that unfortunate outfit.

i am so over kenlay...
how she made it this far is beyond me...every outfit she's designed is more for herself than for the client/challenge...
and i loved her comments after tim's critique: "i never do what tim suggests"
that's why tim is an executive at liz claiborne with two shows and a book and you are...:hardhead::lol:
 
^^I agree....I absolutely hate her now...I used to think she was cute early on in the season, but now I cannot stand her. She's a delusional, self important b*tch. Seriously, every challenge she's said "I was not impressed with all the other outfits in the room...I'm definitely going to be top three." Please....

She thinks her work is so incredible...Kenley...it's not. Your work is like a cheap version of Betsey Johnson (which is saying a lot). Get over yourself...

I'm excited to see her being confronted by Tim and the judges next week!
 
Did someone last night say Suede's design looked like it was Selena, or am I imagining things? :lol: If they did, that was dead on.

Jerrell's was really pretty. I thought it was by far the best. But honestly, for most professions (I forget what that girl did), you do have to dress super conservative and super boring at least for the interview. So, I don't really think that was an appropriate interview outfit. Despite what the judges may think, unless you work in a creative field, you really have to wear a suit to an interview.
 
i never liked kenley...
she to high on her high horse~shes like christian however she doesn't have the skill to back up what she talks.
joe=boring...i never really cared about his designs tbh lol. i always forget who he is...

jarrell=i really dont understand him lol...he makes stuff for gypsys or something...i just dont understand him....but sometimes he makes nice stuff. i just wish, HE WOULD STOP WEARING THOSE UGLY HATS!!!!!!!!

Jerrell was my fav last night, followed by korto. Not worried about leanne...she had a bad day. She'll be top 3, no doubt.
I did not like Kenley but seemed like she and her client shared same taste. whatever.
I can't remember the last time suede and joe made anything decent....
 
Leanne and Korto have been in my ideal Bryant Park top 3 from the beginning. Jerrell has since then won me over. I agree with DevonDevore, Jerrell has pretty questionable personal style but hell, he can pull anything together and make it work..

I would find it rather hysterical if Kenley or Suede make the top 3. On a rare occasion they can pull something together and make it look okay, but for them to be at Bryant Park? No, I could never see it happening. Plus the fact they annoy the living jesus out of me.

All six who were on the show last night showed at Bryant Park though, so, as much as I am in full agreement about how obnoxious they are, they all showed at Fashion Week.

Kenley needs to go back to Florida.

Oh my! I did hear mention of that, it must have escaped me.. *Sigh* I feel so sorry for the spectators at that show. :lol: Hell, atleast they got to see Leanne, Korto and Jarrell's collections, and thats nothing to sneeze at. No matter the challenge it always seems as if they pull out really high end looking designs, despite poor Leannes mishap last evening.

I think Kenley should get into textiles or something, I don't see her making it very far as a designer. Nothing she makes ever really looks high end, plus her voice just puts me over the edge.
 
I'm surprised no one has mentioned how Kenley bursts out laughing when other designers are being critiqued at the judging table. Not only is it extremely rude its also unprofessional.
 
Kenley seems bi-polar to me or something. She's constantly either crying or bitching or laughing. There's no just "being normal" with her.

Anyway, this is going to what you guys were talking about a little earlier, but I dont know why you all dislike Michael Kors on the show. I love him. He brings that honest bitchiness that I like and says things to these people that should be said. Same with Nina, I like her. Hope they never replace them.
 
oh i did notice that about kenley laughing when others are being critiqued. Very unprofessional indeed. I forgot about that, but i was so annoyed with her when i was watching the show and surprised none of the judges called her out on it. That would have been nice.

I also like Michael Kors. Always did...he's great on this show IMO.
 
^ Well they did call her out on it once, I'm sure they just feel if they continually bring it up it would just bring attention to it. BTW, why in the hell was her client laughing? As far as I know she wasn't even there for the pocket square debate? It looked as if she was in hysterics, a bit over dramatized. But whatever, Kenley will be gone soon enough. :)

I agree with the posters above, Michael and Nina make fabulous judges on the show. Heidi sometimes holds herself back, perhaps not wanting to fully offend the designers, where as Nina and Michael just tell them how they feel -with no regrets-
