Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2010

The show was MUCH better than last year, and I'm glad the slow motion crap at the end was minimized. The stage was better, but I wish the audience were completely in the dark so you could focus on the girls.

An issue that I had was when some of the parts seemed overly contrived like the backstage people shouting like everyone's mention and also Candice's monologue . . . wtf was that . . . ?

I thought when the girls were talking about one another it was really sweet, but I think my biggest issue was with this new crop of angels. I have no real problem with Chanel/Lily/Erin (I do think Candice and Rosie are the most promising for this new crop of angels), but honestly they can't begin to hold a candle to Ale and Adriana. It doesn't look like a cohesive group at all to me. My favorite part was actually the very end where Ale and Adriana were playing around on stage, the two top angels, it was very reminiscent of Tyra/Heidi dynamic to me.

Overall, I think it's awesome that VS has listened to our suggestions and I hope the ratings reflect how much better this year has been. I can't wait for next year's show.

Can't wait to see the ratings. I have to say that for VS, I really think this is a step in the right direction. This show definitely beat out 2009 by a long shot and 2007 too. Still think 2008 was better.

I agree with the problem being the new crop of models. Truly, the best moments of the show was any screen time Adriana got. It's a huge shame they barely focused on her. It was HER year!

I personally think that the show would be much different if Miranda and Doutzen were involved. Next year, if no one gets pregnant, the focus will probably be Adriana, Ale, Doutzen, Miranda, Candice, Rosie.

The Chanel/Lily/Erin trio is horrible. Because VS has a history of dropping girls fast, I really hope they are gone soon.

I personally think that the show would be much different if Miranda and Doutzen were involved. Next year, if no one gets pregnant, the focus will probably be Adriana, Ale, Doutzen, Miranda, Candice, Rosie.

I think after their 3 years they will be gone too. Maybe not Erin since they did boot Lindsay.

Oh dear, that editing. Even my grandmother would've done a better job with it.

The show was good, but could've been so much better with better editing. So very rushed, you could barely see some of the girls on the runway.

I was expecting somuchmore Adriana and even some fuss about the fantasy bra, and there was none.

Also, Katy Perry is terrifying, she shouldn't have been there.

And what ever happened to that Delko guy? Not that I wanted to see him or anything... but anyways.


P.S. And man, does Stegner have the weirdest posture on the catwalk... I re-watched the previous shows earlier and it's always the same, with or without wings. So strange. And don't shoot me Julia-fans, I do like her.

IMO Julia's time is up. Her walk is bad and she doesn't have that same spark. Same goes for Winberg. Jessica Stam unfortunately has not been the same either, and I think that was her last VS show (in her current state).

And Savana, I sure hope we are right with the fact that those 3 will fade away soon. I see Chanel (unfortunately) sticking around the longest, but I can't see her stint being longer than 2 more years. Selita and Marisa and KK were dropped like water, so I wouldn't be surprised.

Is Angela done with VS? just wondering

Yeah, I'm really hoping they'll drop the Erin/Lily/Chanel trio. I don't know, I just don't see their appeal.

I really missed Miranda and Doutzen this year! I would have loved to see them have interviews and bits throughout the show. I wonder which outfits they would have got? Ah, I already can't wait till next year!

They really should have gotten rid of Candice's monologue and gave that portion of time to Adriana.

I love how they present Game On then suddenly Candice opens Country Girls. Amazing editing job.

Candice's monologue was so cheesy! Like, she's walking a fashion show, not going through a life saving surgery! It was SO overtly dramatic!

I have to admit, when Chanel cried, it was such an authentic expression of emotions. I kinda like her more now.

The music in Game On was by far the best in the show, but the rest of the music really didn't do much, same ole play-the-whole-song-as-is formula that they've been going with for the past few years. More mixes VS!

Props to Katey Perry for singing live - that was hard to do and to sound the way she did. Akon - hon, you can't expect us to believe you're really singing when the song uses autotunes...

Overall a very good show, miles better than last year.

I don't like some of the editing (omission of Adriana's foot stomp/how many times do I need to see Vin Diesel, etc), but other than that, I really can't complain much this year

Akon was singing live as we saw in that Perez Hilton video, but CBS must have thought it was awful too and edited the audio in. One thing they did right.

Ok watched the show with friends who had never seen a vsfs before and they loved it.

Girls they liked: Adriana, Ale, Candace, Lilly D (her first walk they were like DAMN! but they couldnt tell when she walked again), Isabeli, Manu, Karolina...

Like someone else mentioned before. Alot of the girls were too similar for them to tell who was who and they were surprised i knew their names.

Girls they thought were "BLAH": Lily A, Liu (although i liked her), the jablonskis... and basically the girls that got one outfit (except Flavia).

It was a better show than last year. Straight runway, better cast overall. Needs less Akon, and a few of the models just don't fit for me. But then I was surprised by how good Lily D and Magda were. Maybe a couple of years ago they wouldn't have been right but now seem like certs for next year.

Candice's monologue was pretty painful: "I'm so full of anticipation, I feel like I'm going to burst." You sound a bit bored actually. Maybe I'm doing her a disservice and she sounds like that all the time?

Oh and I just keep laughing at Katy Perry right at the end when they're walking off and she's gesturing behind Behati and Maryna...

I just rewatched the show for the first time since last night. I actually really liked it. My very favorite of the night was def Isabeli. Something about her closing Game On (best section!) was just so sexy. Her attitude, her walk, the props/dancers, and the music was just perfect.
