I really enjoyed this one! I can't say that I was too excited about the casting (too many similar blondes - and they all looked so tired!), but the editing was MUCH better than the previous years (not that much slow-motion etc), I liked the inbetweensections-stuff (I really liked how they focused on the angels as a team, and I don't think that the fantasy bra is that important, so I don't care that they didn't put much attention to it), I liked the energy and that there were so many half naked men on stage I think the interaction with them kinda spices up the show energy-wise. And how fierce was Emanuela's part? And Isabeli's?
So awesome. VS is heading in the right direction!

If this new crop of models is what VS is trying to push as the new generation of angels, then it's pretty sad IMO.

What candle does Erin, Chanel, or Lily hold against Adriana, Ale, Miranda when they were starting out? At least when Ale, Adriana, Miranda started out with VS they have something unique about them.

Erin looks like a typical blonde freckled teenager. Chanel I won't even start on. Lily (although I really like her as a person) is pretty pointless as model. I just fail to find her interesting, she just popped up out of nowhere last year and became an angel a month later.

I'm REALLY hoping that when Miranda and Doutzen come back they will really push the main angels more, and the other trio will gradually fade away, please!

Did Chanel's laugh at 6:31 slightly scare anyone? If she laughs like that all the time, I feel really bad for models like Ale and Adriana who have to put up with that, lol.

^ I think that is the whole point of having girls like Chanel, lily, and Erin... They are quite normal. They're approachable, non- threatening, and have an obtainable beauty.
Unlike girls like adriana, ale, Rosie, and Candice who r freaking goddesses, and therefore not really relatable to us mere normal people.
The newbies are young, fresh and bridge the gap between normal people and the supermodels.

Re New Girls:
I have not been all that enthused about the newbies, but the thing that has convinced me that the torch has been passed and not in a bad way, was not the show itself rather it was the Christmas commercial, which was Adriana and the newbies. IMO, for new buyers of VS products or existing buyers who are not model fans, the girls in the commercial looked like aspirational goddesses. Yes, the VSFS is the single biggest event, but really it is just one of their responsibilities and as long as they don't look completely crazy on the show (and there is no reason to believe that as professional models they would), that is good enough. Also, in addition to the VSFS, what matters is how they conduct themselves at appearances, how popular they are at appearances, and how the merchandise they shill in the catalog does, and if those things are in order, I doubt if being a non-favorite amongst the VSFS followers really matters at contract negotiation time.

Re Candice and KK:
I like Candice, but I Karolina, still Karolina needed to stop playing with balloons and walk in the line and to my eyes, Candice did not push her, just directed her and people do that all the time. Also, my guess is that they are instructed about the order that they are in. KK was not wrong to want to play with the balloons and Candice was certainly wrong to move her along.

Again I can just say that I'm quite happy with this years show.
I just watched it a second time and noticed that there's a whole lot of Heidi in the part where they talk about the wings. I guess that's the least VS could do considering Heidi didnt get a proper goodbye (I'm still glad she wasnt there this year).
And yeah, agree with everyone who said Miranda and Doutzen were missed. Cant wait to see them next year.

Didn't miss Doutzen or Miranda.

Overall it is certainly better then 2007 but about the same as 2008, 2009.

Still suggest VS taking a break next year. To refresh, come up with really new cool ideas, to do a tour, whatever.

Finally got to watch it, too.

First: I agree with everyone, the voice overs were so unneccessary and stupid

Isabeli and Adriana totally rocked the show, they were brilliant. Jessica Stam and Chanel (!) were great, also. We didn't get to see enough Lily D, Jac Jablonski and Magdalena.
The clips with the angels/supermodels talking about each other were nice.
The music was great, except for the live performances (Katy Perry CAN'T SING ). The outfits were lovely.

Overall I liked it, but I always felt like something was missing.

I wonder what girls wouldn't be there if the two angles weren't pregnant.
I think Candice pushing KK wasn't rude, more like a "we have to go" kind of thing.

About Marisa, we don't know exactly the side of the story, but her contract was up and VS didn't renew it and she mutual quit. She moved on and is now an NFL spokesmodel.

What were some of your bests and worsts for this year, guys?

Best Segment: Tie between Game On for the fun factor and closing, and Heavenly Bodies for the amazing outfits and line up (even though the opening-Chanel and closing-Julia, were horrible)
Worst Segment: I'm pleased to say that none were bad, but country girls was my least favorite. It could have been SO better with a more romantic song.
Best Outfits: Candice and Magda in Tough Love; Edita in Country Girls; Izabel, Katsia, Adriana in Heavently Bodies
Worst Outfits: Chanel in Game On, Julia in Heavenly Bodies, Jacquelyn Jab in PINK
Best Models: Adriana (sexy but playful), Ale (total goddess and great energy), Candice (amazing body and sexy walk), Lily D (stunning beauty, memorable blonde), Magdalena (like Adriana, sexy but playful), Isabeli (AMAZING closing in Game On), Flavia (absolutely stunning in Heavenly Bodies)
Worst Models: CHANEL IMAN (literally ruined every outfit she wore, Heavenly Bodies had a decent outfit, but it would have looked better on any other model in the show; terrible walk, body and face; annoying; did NOT deserve to close the show), Rosie (NOT entirely her fault, but she looked exactly the same in all her walks, that one just woken up look wasn't working for her and her expression was horrible), Anja (GREAT HF model, totally wrong for VS, not feeling it), Stegner (awkward walk, not the same as she used to be), Selita (too over the top, terrible walk)

Props to Jac Jab for working that horrible PJ outfit! Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed in Maryna this year. She was too filler this year when the two years before she was a total stand out!

Best Segment: Game on for sure. The music made this segment. The outfits were bad but I think the "fun-ness" of the segment made it enjoyable. The models weren't as over the top as previous years and I think thats what made me like the segment. The gymnasts helped. Another close segment was Tough Love. Adriana's walk gave me chills. Also Lily D and Magda were amazing
Worst Segment: Country Girls. Way too slow and boring. I lost interest! I sort of fast forwarded through it to be honest.
Best Outfit: I have a couple. Adriana's tough love and heavenly bodies outfit. Anja's tough love. Magda's tough love. Isabeli's game on. Lais and Emanu in Wild Things. Heloise and Maryna's outfits in pink
Worst Outfit: Chanel's game on. Adriana's game on. Liu's game on. Rosie's wild things. Anne V's wild things. Fabiana and Jac J's in Pink.

In my opinion, this show is ranked after 2003/2005, but before 2007/2008/2009. It's a tie with 2006 for me.

Best Segment: It would have been Tough Love for me, but I felt that the editing was crap here, so I couldn't get a full feel for it. Game On was actually really great. I was scared for it, but I loved it. the music, and the energy and Isabeli's closing were awesome. Also loved Wild Things. I'm pretty sure I drooled through that whole part.
Worst Segment: Country Girls for sure. It's forgettable, boring, and some of the costumes were just uggh.
Best Outfit: Tough Love: Magda's Game On: Lais' Country Girl's: Candice's and Lindsay's wings Heavenly Bodies: Flavia's and Magda's Wild Things: Lais', Ale's and KK's were all stunning PINK: Chanel's, although I don't see how it fit into the show at all.
Worst Outfit: Lily's in tough love just looked thrown together, Lui's and Adri's in Game On and Jac's in PINK

Candice physically pushed her. I think that's a bit rude and uncalled for. She could have just walked around her or something.

I agree, when I first read the post (cause I didn't catch it when I was watching) I thought it was just another something blown completely out of proportions as usually happens on these boards.

But that was a real push. She could've waited a few more secs as I'm sure KK would've quickly realized with everyone walking past her that it was time to go.

Don't touch KK like that Candice!

Just realized this, but it must have been awkward for Adrian Grenier to see Stam on the runway since they used to date. He must have been thinking "yeah, that's not mine anymore" LOL Wonder if Stam was aware.

those were Olympic gymnasts on that stage - pretty cool IMO. I knew I recognized the Hamm brothers!

Although the pictures are pretty funny, Isabeli & Adriana look like giants next to them.
