Best Segment: Going to say Game On, I loved it more than I thought I would.
Worst Segment: Country Girls made me sigh every time I've watched the show (which has been 4 times already, thank god for DVR)
Best Outfit: Tough Love: Magda, Candice & Rosie's wings, Game On: Everyone but Adriana, Liu & Shannan this segment was on point. Country Girls: I love Candice's opening outfit, Lindsay's wings and I actually liked the denim on Maryna. Heavenly Bodies: I honestly didn't LOVE anything in this segment, and while I'm glad Chanel got her first set of wings here it was kind of tainted thanks to Akon being all in the way, and not enough display of the fantasy bra. That would have been the one place I would have really appreciated some slow motion action going on. Wild Things: Alessandra, Lais, Emanuela & Karolina. PINK: Heloise, Maryna, Lily's wings and Chanel. Five words: I NEED MY BUBBLE GUN D:
Worst Outfit: Anja in Tough Love, Adriana in Game On, nothing stand out terrible looks wise in CG that was just boring all together, Katsia & Julia in Heavenly Bodies. Anne & Liu in Wild Things and nothing really stand out terrible in Pink for me either.
Best Models: Magda, Emanuela, Lais, Alessandra, Behati
Honorable Mentions: Chanel, Candice, Selita,
Worst Models: Julia, Lily D, Anja, Edita, Stam and that kills me to say but she was forgettable.

I don't want to say Liu was bad but she was just out of place. I think she would've been better suited for PINK than Wild Things and someone like... Maryna or Jacquelyn should've been in Wild Things instead.

I guess this was a great show because i just saw the show for the third time: lol :.....anyways, here is my humble opinion:
Best Segment: I can´t believe that going to say this but Game on was the most entertaining and energetic segment, imo.... well, i admit this is probably because of music great remix!!!..so please VS, take note!!!
Worst Segment: Country girls .... that stupid song by Jewel was just horrible to take advantage of it ... still think the outfits were gorgeous
Best Outfit: tough love (Candice's costume was amazing with all those metalic details), country girls (I'm in love with Constance´s outfit), game on (Isabeli, werk it, girl!), Heavenly bodies (lily d's outfit: wub, wild things (KK, plus what a body) and pink (Maryna, she always manages to look stunning!)
Worst Outfit: First of all I have to say I really liked all the outfits for almost all segments except for some "game on" and "pink" but in fact the worst outfit was that used by Chanel just horrid!!!!
Best Models: Adriana (though she should work on her facial expressions and forget those goofy faces), Alessandra, Magdalena, Lily D, Erin H (many people think she is boring but i find her quite classic, natural and sexy), Candice (shes the VS-SEXY girl .. a real Goddess), KK: heart: and Manu (speechless. ... she was the star of one of the highlights of the show .... congrats to her ... she deserve It) and finally, Isabeli (she looked better than ever)
Worst Models: Chanel (sorry she's not beautiful for my taste ... I try that she likes me especially because we'll be stuck with her presence in the coming years working with VS ... but no way! She is not pretty and not even she has the curves to look decent a lingerie set.... Another ugly model was Lily Aldridge ... (when she does not smile is cute ... but godness what happened to her¿ ... i mean, I could live with her awful walk but in her two appearances, she looked completely lost and awkward: yuk: and the last was Shannan (She didn´t bring anything to the show, only vulgarity, also is boring to die)
Funny moment: Adriana´s dance (someone could make a gif of this? Please ....seriously, she should take dance lessons ... for a moment I thought she would dance a "sevillana" (flamenco -music)
Highlight moment: And this is why i love the show .... This is Isabeli in "game on" segment .... She is an perfect example of how a VS model should be ....I thought i was dying when i saw the moment the first plane of her face

Best Segment: I have to agree, Game On. I was scared for it when the pics were released, but watching it, it's definitely the VS of the past - great music choice, energetic - I think it's the only segment where all of the girls were great.
Worst Segment: Heavenly Bodies. Akon ruined it, Katy should've been singing Fireworks in that segment. Akon wasn't really needed.
Best Outfit: Adriana's opening outfit.
Worst Outfit: Julia's closing piece in Heavenly Bodies; Lily D's piece in Heavenly Bodies (the crown, the arrows - it was overkill), Liu's fish-out-of-water outfit in Wild Things; Jaquelyn's one-piece butt flap in PINK.
Best Models: Isabeli killed it with the weights, Adriana, Ale, KK (no one else could've handled those massive wings), Behati (her backstage scream was adorable and shows what the VSFS is about).
Honorable Mentions: Lais (great wing rookie), Emanuella (great "second" opening of the Wilg Things segment); Magda & Lily D - great crossover performance from HF to VS.
Worst Models: Liu, Julia/Caroline, Anja.

I hate to put Liu in this category, but she needs to learn some new moves on the runway. The Bat-dance move in Game On was already covered by Selita back in 2008. Her second appearance was unremarkable.

Julia/Caroline - veterans who've lost their sparks. Julia's been sliding downhill year after year, I never got Caroline's appeal.

Anja - becoming a fading star. Last year she was a surprise to see on the VS runway, but she showed promise. This year, she was just flat in both appearances. No smile, and what's with the jog/hop during Heavenly Bodies? You know how some of complain about the pointing and kissing? there's also the not going anything. They need to find a happy medium.

I find it funny that the people who bashed the Game On segment prior to actually seeing the show list it as a Best Segment.

You know what I would have done if I was in charge? Not have Akon at the show at all, and Heavenly Bodies would have been with Usher's song OMG, with Adriana opening with the fantasy bra and Chanel's white wings. And before that part there would be like a 1 minute intro about the fantasy bra.

I actually agree with this. I think they should've just had Usher again and I love that song. If not Usher there, performing, then at least the song. This would've been perfect. At least Usher would've payed attention to the girls (and been in the way) instead of ignoring them and being in the way. And I don't know if anyone else was bothered by Liu's head scratch or whatever you want to call the pose she does in Wild Things, but it bothers me every single time I see it. I don't think she should've been in that segment.

and I just realized that Adriana didn't get wings this year... they should have given her wings for heavenly bodies and open the segment, it would have actually showcased the bra. i don't understand the point of a million dollar bra if they're just going to let it blend in with all the others.

I don't know why people complain so much about things. I'm pretty sure CBS has the most say in the editing, not VS. Just enjoy what you get, it's only once a year.

The show was good, of course some of the outfits are over the top and ridiculous. The one WOW moment for me was Manu's little opening segment. I went back and watched that part about 3 times.

Hopefully she can improve her English so she can replace Chanel, not that I have anything against her but VS likes to have only one "not caucasian" angel. shame. :/

Haha oh her bend and snap! Can I just say that why they decided to use Lily A over Lindsay makes absolutely zero sense to me? Lindsay doesn't need any makeup, her face is gorgeous and her personality is bright and sweet!

I saw the show again and my mind has changed on a few things

Tough Love- Forgettable, not all that I imagined it to be. Adriana's opening was weak, though originally I had a different view. Best of the segment was Lily Donaldson and Maryna's pose.

Country Girls- forgettable, good outfits but destroyed by the music

Game On- I was one of the people that disliked the outfits but yeah surprisingly I did enjoy. Everything up until Shannan's entrance was ok but then the remix of Lady Gaga infused with Isabeli's entrance just blew me away. Words cannot express how amazing Isabeli was here. Everything was spot on from the gymnasts to her walk and pose to the music. Isabeli was hands down the best of the show.

Heavenly Bodies- worst segment of the night and it had the biggest potential of all. Again it all boils down to the music and selection of certain unnecessary models. Magdalena rocked it though.

Wild Things- Ok segment, Alessandra should have just walked like a fierce wild thing. It did have two highlights of the night, Emanuella's entrance and KK the jungle queen.

PINK- fun, better than most other PINK segments. Liked Heloise, Constance.


Best of the night- Isabeli, KK, Emanuella (still love Rosie though even though she was not all that great but she was tired)

Overall 2005/2003/2002>2010>2006/2007/2008/2009

an improvement but still not even close to how good it can be, but I do appreciate it more.

I think Pink! had it's promise. But the fact that Katy Perry was performing through it completely destroyed it's chances for being a highlight for me. The camera cut wayyy too much to Katy (yes.. i know she's performing during the segment) but like literally every other second it was to her. Then the balloons. Seemed like a good idea but way too distracting. (did anyone see Maryna punch that balloon out of her way? *snap*!) It could have been good, I just think there was way too much going on.

I like Tough Love until Maryna. Julia and Candice did nothing for me in that segment.

Best Segment: Game On - hated the outfits, but I thought the music and the whole vibe was amazing.
Worst Segment: I don't think any of them were awful. I think I would've liked Country Girls a lot better if they had chosen a better choice for the music - beautiful outfits, horrible music.
Best Outfits: Rosie and Candice in Tough Love, Anne V in Country Girls, and most of the outfits in Heavenly Bodies.
Worst Outfits: Chanel and Liu in Game On, anything Lily A was wearing.
Best Models: Adriana, Alessandra, Candice, Isabeli, Rosie, KK - OMG! Amazing!
Worst Models: LILY A, Chanel and Anja.
Major Disappointments: Chanel gets two pairs of wings, yet Adriana only gets one pair - and they weren't the nicest of wings. I think they could have put WAY more emphasis on the FB and some nicer wings to go with it. That I don't understand. KK and Ale should have gotten more outfits. I hated Katy Perry. Her voice could have been much, much better. And I just do not get the hype with Lily A. She's average, and I don't think she is drop dead beautiful.

Didn't even realise there was a new thread.
Anyway eventually watched the show and was very impressed by Constance, Maryna, Karolina, Candice, Magdalena and Emanuela....who rocked it out of the park. Wish she had got another outfit.
Also the new girl Katsia was gorgeous and is a perfect fit for the show.
Was not impressed once again by Lily Aldridge, who is very pretty, but that walk is still terrible.......OK better than last year, but still shocking.
Adriana did absolutely nothing for me and her dancing backstage and on stage for that matter was ridiculous.
A good show all round, but defintely not their best.

The biggest star for me was Emanuela, hands down! That girl is beyond amazing, and she proved her worth. She would have deserved more outfits, but she totally rocked the one she was given.

And about the fantasy bra... what fantasy bra? Where was the hype? It was so hastily cut and I swear no-one outside these forums that were watching the show, actually knew the worth of the bra. But I guess VS has money to spend 2 mill to a bra that is being showcased the same as every other 10 dollar bra.
