Love the challenge even though it's another reprise of a past challenge, but I'll let it slide since NY at night is so much more inspiring than NY during the day like that challenge back on season 2. But so far I see a lot of ugly going on.

I'm also getting extremely bored of seeing girly little party dresses. It seems like it's all that some of these designers can do.

If Stella doesn't get booted out soon, I honestly don't know if I will continue to watch the show. I can't stand her. In fact, there aren't really any designers who I'm rooting for. For the most part, the designers just don't seem that innovative or talented this season. I'm incredibly disappointed.

My random thoughts while watching the runway show...

Terri - I hated the print, there was just too much of it.

Korto - Chic but very bland, there wasn't a whole lot of design involved.

Keith - he got exactly what he aimed for, it looked just like a wet, dirty, destroyed piece of paper in the gutter.

Kenley - that dress was bad enough to negate the perfectly chic dress she did last week. In what world would you EVER use that fabric? Not to mention I see nothing from the picture in it. The judges are out of their goddamn minds to choose it as the winner. What chic NY'er would want to wear a bulbous Polynesian shirt?

Stella - she gets my vote just because she did something other than a flirty little dress. Nothing great, but it stood out for being different.

Leanne - Gorgeous skirt. And she was smart to make the top simple because the end result looked like what people do when they take a runway piece and mix it into their wardrobe, it was an outfit instead of a runway look. She was ROBBED!

Emily - Carmen Miranda would love it....so would Santino.

Jennifer - kind of frumpy, looks a bit Erin Fetherston.

Jerrell - boy needs to tame that ego cause so far his stuff sucks. That was just a poorly made Zac Posen gown.

Joe - the top was ok, and you could see the inspiration. The skirt didn't fit, and the little piece of tulle flying off the back didn't add anything.

Blayne - that kid needs to stop looking at all the pretty colors.

Daniel - It was pretty good, nothing spectacular but it definitely looked like his photo.

Kelli - I kinda liked it actually. It wasn't pretty or cute, it had a bit of edge.

Suede - Baby Phat.

SO mad that Leanne didn't win! I don't understand why Stella could have gotten through this week...her outfit looked horrendous and so trashy imo.

Going by the pics since I haven't seen the episode, but how in the world did Kenley win and Emily get the boot? WHAT? It should've been the other way around if anything. But seriusly, Leanne should've won hands down. The best look no competition. Terri or Stella should've been cut.

I'm not really getting all the Stella hate this week. Her outfit was by no means the ugliest, and for all the trashiness of it, it looked really well made.

UGH, the judges have seriously lost their taste. I liked Kenley's dress shape, but the print was hideously fug. Leanne obviously deserved to win, I think anyone with two eyes and half a brain realized that. I think Blayne should've gone. His dress was just a fuglier version of Emily's.

But so far this season is better than last. Last season was like pulling teeth for me.

And why does everyone hate Stella? I think she's one of the more tolerable personalities this season.

^^I agree! I just made that comment to my mom who was watching with me....what the heck is wrong with the judges? I think the only thing they like are plain, conventional cocktail dresses. Seems like everything else is too complicated for their brains.

And I LOVE Stella! I love her sassy attitude. Despite her endearing quirks, I think she seems pretty normal! She reminds me of a few of my friends who are really sarcastic. Stella is the only 'character' I like this season.

Blayne should have gone. I feel like he's made the same dress for the past three episodes. Something black with some random colors thrown on.

I don't need to say anything because you took every word right out of my mouth. Kenley's was hideous! I mean, I can handle an ugly print, because sometimes when the print is intentionally garish, the design of the dress balances the intensity of the print (several Lacroix pieces come to mind). But Kenley's was so ugly and the tulle was such a HUGE mistake...colored tulle hardly ever works.

Except...I liked the design of Terri's, but I didn't like the print. And I kind of liked Keith's....
Although, I'm finding a lot of the designer's outfits looks SO much better on the dress form.

I don't know names yet, but I can say that the girl who got sent home...

her dress was GORGEOUS! I instantly fell in love with it.

Maybe the ruffles were misplaced just a bit, but the idea was breath-taking.

I don't know if you're responding to my post, but if you are, let me explain myself a bit. I don't think Emily deserved to win. I said Leanne should have won. BUT, given the choice between Kenley and Emily, I'd say Emily deserved the win and Kenley deserved to be kicked out. That was the worst fabric choice Kenley could've made (actually Terri might have beat her there) and the design wasn't even THAT great. And I don't understand what's so bad about Emily's design. Not the best by any means, but deserving of cut? No.

I just realized last night there are 2 mousy brunettes, not 1.

I don't understand why everyone hates Stella. I love her!!!
I wouldn't wear any of her clothes myself but she is damn good at what she does.
That being said she maybe shouldn't bet on winning PR b/c they don't want a biker chic look everytime and that seems to be what she is giving them.

As much as I love Kenley I didn't think she deserved the win. Her dress was butt ugly, IMO.
I loved Leann's and would wear it in a second. She should have gotten the win.

Emily's dress was so very amateur. Very Forever 21 which is never a good thing.
I am not sad to see her go, she didn't stand out to me.

When Teri was describing what she was going to do I thought I would hate it but ended up really liking it.
